We're building the vendor accountability layer for facility managers

Evalystar started with a simple question and turned into a mission: make every vendor, every job, every contract renewal driven by evidence, not memory.

01How it began

The accidental partnership

Before we ever met, our companies were already working together. Different sides of the same deals and we had no idea. It took joining the same team to discover we'd been connected all along.

02Where we met

Meeting at Lexcheck

We finally met building contract-review software for lawyers. Two product-obsessed people with very different toolkits, suddenly shipping together. Thomas brought the user instinct; Fernando made it work every single time.

03The trigger

A question

A friend posed what seemed like a simple problem: “I just need to know which of my vendors actually deliver.” It sounded easy on paper. Once we started digging, we realised we were pulling on something much bigger.

04What we saw

The bigger picture

Every long-term service contract is really a stack of jobs. Each job is a moment where quality can be tracked, for compliance, for warranty, for the next renewal conversation. From school districts to hospital networks to corporate campuses, we’re making sure what was promised is what gets delivered.

The team

Two product people, one mission.

Thomas Renon
CEO & co-founder

Product designer at heart. Spent a career turning messy operational problems into software people actually use. Passionate about solving problems that matter, now channelling that into making vendor accountability a default, not an afterthought.

Fernando Guazo
CTO & co-founder

Technical through and through. The kind of engineer who makes things work any time, under any constraint. Brings the same rigour he applied to contract-review infrastructure to every layer of the Evalystar platform.

Where we're going

Vendor management driven by data,
not gut feel.

Our goal is to become the leading platform for vendor performance data in facility management: schools, hospitals, healthcare, home care, and corporations. Long-term contracts make promises about the quality of hundreds of individual jobs. We're making sure those promises can be measured, tracked, and held from the first evaluation to the last renewal.
